What a beautiful (and delicious) way to end this Jewish Culture School year! We made Italian Date Cake and Coconut Rocks, and learned how to transform our hands into little faces that can sing Shalom Chaverim! Thank you for a wonderful year–updates coming soon about the fun in store for next year.
We’re people of all the books! Join us for our Shavuos Book Fest on May 21st at 10:30am in Pleasanton. We celebrate Shavuos by sharing the best book each person read this year. We can’t wait to hear your book recommendations! Iced tea and cookies will be provided. Bring your favorite snack if you’re able.
Join us for our Lag B’Omer Picnic in San Ramon on May 7th at 10:30am. We’ll play some field games, and do our annual watermelon toss, as is our tradition. Please bring a dish to share, any games you want to play, and a mask for when social distancing isn’t possible.
Passover is just around the corner, and Jewish Culture School kids discussed the freedoms they are most thankful for:
to influence our political situation from fossil fuels for animals to live without human threats from chores to enjoy hobbies without ridicule to read what you want to criticize the government to make decision about our own bodies

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Purim Celebration! The groggers were noisy, the hamantaschen were delicious and the spiel was hilarious! Many thanks to Sarah for planning our crafts and Sophia for making sure the hamantaschen didn’t burn.
Zoom in to join our Secular, Humanist Passover Seder on Sunday, April 8th at 5pm. Come celebrate freedom from slavery with us.
