The National Council of Jewish Women invites you to the following:
Today:
- At 1:00pm PST, we will be hosting a Jewish community vigil over zoom. This will be a space to mourn this loss Jewishly, and will provide a few ways people can get involved moving forward.
- At 2:00pm PST we invite people around the country to show up at your local court house or other locations to be in community with each other. Map with locations coming soon. In Washington, DC, it will be at the Supreme Court.
- In the next two to three days, we will host a Jewish Community Briefing with the legal team from Center for Reproductive Rights who argued the SCOTUS case. They will share what the decision says and what it means; we will also offer a high-level look at what this means for accessing abortion care now. We will also offer ways individuals and organizations can get involved, and some key questions that organizations should be considering for their employees and other constituents in this new medical and legal landscape.
