Join Tri-Valley Cultural Jews for a joyful, silly, Secular, Humanistic Purim celebration–open to families, friends, neighbors and anyone who enjoys cookies, costumes, and good company on Sunday, March 1 from 10:30am-12pm in Livermore.
No religious background required. Just bring your sense of humor.
What’s Purim? Purim is a festive Jewish holiday celebrating courage, resilience, community–and having a great time while snacking and looking fabulous.
Costumes are encouraged for kids and grown-ups alike! We’ll bake (and eat) hamantaschen together. Expect face painting, games, plus a potluck lunch to share. We’ll wrap it all up with a Purimspiel: a playful, funny retelling of the Book of Esther, told with plenty of laughter and joy.
