Welcome the Jewish New Year through our Secular, Humanist Rosh Hashanah Celebration! We’ll gather together on September 25th for a Tashlich walk, followed by our ceremony, conducted in English, which includes music, poetry and readings. Join us in person in Livermore, or virtually via Zoom.

Start your new year with our gift of apples, honey and a little challah for a sweet year! We’ll meet outside with masks on to keep everyone safe. Please bring your own water bottle and sun protection.

Tashlich starts at 3:30pm and our ceremony begins at 4:30pm.

Get ready for Rosh Hashanah with us! Join Tri Valley Cultural Jews for a free Rosh Hashanah Open House and see what we do at Jewish Culture School. We’ll sing, we’ll dance, we’ll do some crafts, we’ll bake and there will definitely be apples and honey!

Find out what a Secular, Humanist Sunday School is all about! Geared towards kids Kindergarten through Brit Mitzvah (5-14) and their families. All are welcome! We are a great fit for Interfaith, LGBTQIA+, multiracial, and intercultural families who are seeking a cultural connection to the Jewish community.

Golf anyone? Frisbee Golf! Bring your frisbee and join TVCJ at beautiful Robertson Park in Livermore on July 16th to play through their Frisbee Golf course. We’ll meet at 10am before it gets too hot, but bring water and sun protection. Please bring a mask for when social distancing is not possible. The National Council of Jewish Women invites you to the following:

Today:

• At 1:00pm PST, we will be hosting a Jewish community vigil over zoom. This will be a space to mourn this loss Jewishly, and will provide a few ways people can get involved moving forward.
• At 2:00pm PST we invite people around the country to show up at your local court house or other locations to be in community with each other. Map with locations coming soon. In Washington, DC, it will be at the Supreme Court.

• In the next two to three days, we will host a Jewish Community Briefing with the legal team from Center for Reproductive Rights who argued the SCOTUS case. They will share what the decision says and what it means; we will also offer a high-level look at what this means for accessing abortion care now. We will also offer ways individuals and organizations can get involved, and some key questions that organizations should be considering for their employees and other constituents in this new medical and legal landscape.

Join us for our Lag B’Omer Picnic at Athan Downs Park in San Ramon on May 15th at 10:30am. We’ll play some field games (so bring your frisbee) and do our traditional  watermelon toss.
