Ever built a sukkah with a bunch of culturally Jewish folks, a pile of wood, a few power tools and zero pressure to know what you’re doing?
Now’s your chance.
Join Tri-Valley Cultural Jews for a morning of community, creativity and collaborative chaos as we raise and decorate our sukkah together. No building experience needed–we’ll guide you through it. And yes, kids will get to try out power tools–because building a sukkah is way more fun when we’re all involved.
Once the sukkah is standing and the adrenaline has worn off, we’ll reward ourselves with a potluck brunch. Bring something tasty to share, and help us keep it green by bringing your own plate, cup and utensils.
Want to contribute to the vibe? Bring some natural decorations and a branch for the roof of our sukkah. Crafts and kid-friendly activities will be available, and so is that sweet, low-key feeling of being part of something built together.
New to the community? Not religious? Not sure if this is “your thing”?
That’s exactly why you should come. We’re a friendly, no-judgement, culturally Jewish group–and this might be just the kind of connection you didn’t know you were looking for.
