Join Tri-Valley Cultural Jews for a joyful, silly Secular Humanist Purim celebration on Sunday, March 1, from 10:30am-12pm in Livermore (address provided upon registration). Everyone is welcome -- no Jewish background or experience needed.Purim is a holiday of courage, resilience, and community, and we celebrate it the best way we know how: with laughter, creativity, and good food. Come in costume! Kids and adults are encouraged to join the fun.We'll bake (and eat!) hamantaschen, enjoy crafts and games, and share a community potluck lunch. We'll wrap up the morning with our annual Purimspiel, a playful and funny retelling of the Book of Esther.If you haven't found a Purim party yet, there's still time. Just bring your sense of humor.What's Purim? Purim is a festive Jewish holiday celebrating courage, resilience, community--and having a great time while snacking and looking fabulous.Costumes are encouraged for kids and grown-ups alike!
